I joined Brook Leisure in September 2009 at the age of 20 having previously worked for Harewood and Nexum Leisure in and around the North East and Yorkshire.

I took a Trainee Manager position at their site in Wakefield, Quest and Mustang Sallys. Combined this is the largest venue i have worked at and the largest team i have worked in to date.

My training with Brook so far has been very intense being conducted from branch level. Everyone is very hands on in terms of my development from the General Manager to Retail Manager, Administrator to Promotion and Marketing Personnel.

I'm thoroughly enjoying working for Brook Leisure and cannot wait to
complete my training; i look forward to moving up through the ranks and on to other venues.

Luke Newton, Trainee Manager

As an area manager for Brook Leisure my main responsibility is to ensure we consistently deliver an exceptional service and experience to our customers.

My team work hard to maintain high standards and are dedicated to providing the best quality and value for money nights out in the country.

In my 11 years with Brook leisure I’ve seen the company grow to become one of the largest leisure companies in the UK. What set’s Brook apart from other operator’s is that it’s maintained that family run business feel, welcoming new and old employers to be part of the Brook Group family.

My experiences with the Brook Group have surpassed all my expectations and I have personally benefited from opportunities to develop my career as well as witnessed others receiving the same.
But it is in no way all about the individual at Brook. The Group fosters a strong team culture; each team has the aim of capitalising on the combined strengths of each person to create a successful business unit.
